It’s not about the Likes. It’s about sharing the knowledge.

Right now we all live in a world we never imagined. Movements and socialization limited and restricted. Many schools and dojo have closed or are operating at a bare minimum, some only able to offer online classes. So where does this leave the students?
.
For us at the Shuri Dojo, and me personally, we enjoy trying to spread a little knowledge by using the means available to us. If we can help just one person, in anyway, then that’s all we ask. That’s it….. It’s not about the “Likes”, or gaining hoards of followers. (we don’t have a YouTube channel)
.
Sharing knowledge is the most fundamental act of friendship. Because it’s a way you can give something without loosing something.
.
The purpose of knowledge is action. Without taking action, knowledge simply becomes more knowledge. If you are accumulating knowledge just for the sake of knowing it, what impact are you making?
.
Knowledge that is acted upon becomes wisdom. Knowledge that is for the sake of knowing is vanity. Have you ever heard someone say, “I have forgotten more than you know”? What was the benefit of gaining that knowledge that was forgotten?
.
There is no doubt that learning at a school or dojo under the tutelage of a qualified, knowledgeable teacher is the correct way. So if you can, get along to the dojo, support your teachers and instructors and act upon that knowledge.
.
The amount of knowledge you have affects you. The amount of knowledge you use affects others. Sharing knowledge is NOT about giving people something, or GETTING something from them. Sharing knowledge occurs when people are genuinely interested in helping one another develop.
.
It’s not about the Likes. It’s about sharing the knowledge…….. That’s it! ??
