“All forms of training require consistency over time.”

“To get results, all forms of training require consistency over time. This is far more likely to be achieved if you enjoy the training.” ??

Supplementary training for karate:
.
You might have heard the saying: If you are persistent, you will get it. If you are consistent, you will keep it.
.
Everyone wants consistency, whether it regards running a business, dieting, exercising or training in the martial arts. Consistency develops routines and builds momentum. It forms habits that become almost second nature.
.
For example, think about one of your goals. It requires consistent effort to push toward that goal. If you are not consistently focused on achieving it and enjoying what you do, you will likely fall back into old habits or lose interest. Being consistent and enjoying your training is the difference between failure and success.
.
Being consistent over long periods of time is not easy. It requires building good training habits, it means being patient, and it requires an implicit understanding that in order to be successful you need to work at it.
.
Even the most committed martial artists become bored doing routine work. Therefore choose your supplementary exercises based upon what you need as an individual and fundamentally, what you enjoy.
.
Remember, success is no accident. It is hard work, consistency, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love and enjoyment of what you are doing or learning to do.
